Syrah enters non-binding agreement with Marubeni Corp.

The trading agreement gives the Australian-headquartered company a foothold into the all-important Korean and Japanese markets. Demand for lithium-ion batteries is expected to be strongest in these countries, and as it positions itself as a provider of battery-grade graphite, Syrah will need strategic partners in these countries.
