US frac sand consumption to continue soaring next year: Moody’s

Diving oil prices have led some commentators to believe that frac sand consumption may wane. However, as we are increasingly seeing, this is not the case. Not only are more service users turning to frac sand in lieu of ceramic proppants, but as more wells come online, so the demand increases - a trend Moodys has highlighted in this report.
