Rouble falls benefit Acron Group EBITDA, despite pressures on net profit

Russian fertiliser producers are benefiting from the depreciation of the rouble, though net profit figures for the companies are yet to show this, as their foreign debt grows in relative value.

Russia-based fertiliser producer Acron Group OAO has seen its EBITDA* for Q3 2014 rise 12% year-on-year to Russian rouble (R) 9.5bn ($202m*), following a 25% fall in the value of the rouble currency against the US dollar since June.
