New “massive” flake graphite project planned for Russia

Russia is a small producer of amorphous and flake graphite, with production centred around two mines in the centre of the country. Most of its supply is imported from China. The introduction of a domestic resource could see reliance on China wane, as well as the potential for Russia to export into Asia.
A new "massive" flake graphite deposit is to be developed in
the Russian Federation, which is expected to be online in
The deposit is being developed by Dalgraphite LLC, a junior
mining company associated with Russian magnesia producer
Magnezit, which is based in the Jewish Autonomous Region (JAR)
