Huntsman to invest $82m in Malaysian TiO2 plant upgrade

The company’s investment in its Tetengganu plant and previous office opening in Malaysia, demonstrates it believes that demand in Asia will be integral to growing the TiO2 business following the last few years of low prices and flagging global demand.

Global titanium dioxide (TiO2) producer, Huntsman Corp., is to invest Malaysian dollar (M$) 275m ($82m*) in upgrading its Malaysian TiO2 manufacturing facilities in Terengganu.
