Arkema increases fluorogas prices to create more sustainable value chain

The French fluorochemicals producer believes that an increase in prices for its fluor-gases brand will allow the company to return to a more sustainable supply chain and to regain competitiveness within the new European Commission’s regulations on hydrofluorocarbons.

French chemicals producer Arkema is to increase in prices for its Forane hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) fluorochemicals by 20%, effective immediately or as contracts allow.
