US report points to GS Yuasa design as being at fault in Boeing 787 fire

The comprehensive report, released almost two years after the fire, comes after modifications have been made to batteries and more restrictions have been imposed on their transport.
A US report this week placed the blame for the 2013 Boeing
787 Dreamliner fire squarely on Japanese battery manufacturer
GS Yuasa, despite the fact the company was previously cleared by
Japanese regulators.
