Savannah identifies higher grades of heavy mineral sands at Mozambique project

Savannah’s higher grades of HMS identified at its Jangamo project is encouraging at a time when many juniors are struggling to get funding. TiZir has also made its first ilmenite shipment after mechanical problems in August.

UK-listed Savannah Resources Plc has confirmed zones of higher grade heavy mineral sands (HMS) at its Jangamo heavy mineral sands project in Mozambique.

A 1,920 metre scout and resource drilling programme was completed at the 180km2 resource in September 2014 and revealed higher results of 24 metres at 5.21% HMS...
