GRAPHITE '14: Imerys Graphite and Carbon reinforces commitment to Lac des Iles mine

Rumours have abounded over the last few years about the plans the company formally known as Timcal has for the veteran Quebec graphite projects, but Imerys says it has no intention to close the site. or relinquish its dual position in the natural and synthetic graphite industries.

Switzerland-headquartered Imerys Graphite and Carbon has reiterated its commitment to keeping its Lac des Iles flake graphite mine in Quebec, Canada, in production, despite rumours that the project is earmarked for closure in the next few years.
