China Minmetals completes its rare earths consolidation plan

Following the Chinese government’s approval of its consolidation plan, the Chinese heavy rare earths producer will control over 30 small rare earths firms, including miners, processing and separation plants over six provinces in Southern China. This group will further advance the completion of the country’s plant to consolidate the domestic rare earths industry.
