Tata Chemicals seeks to revive Kenyan soda ash facility

The world’s second largest soda ash supplier is looking to revive its defunct Kenyan facility by acquiring tax exemptions.

Tata Chemicals has applied to the Kenyan government for Export Processing Zone (EPZ) status for its out-of-production soda ash facility located in the town of Magadi, situated 110km from Nairobi.
