China Mineral Processing to upgrade calcined kaolin plant capacity by 40,000 tpa

China Mineral Processing hopes to increase its security of supply in a market currently seeing price rises. The company believes its supply security is being reduced by increased market demand and penetration and plans to counteract this by upgrading its facility by 40,000 tpa calcined kaolin, a two third growth in capacity.

China Mineral Processing Ltd. (CMP) has announced investment plans aimed at increasing the capacity of its calcined kaolin plant in Tangshan, Hebei province, China.

Due for completion in April 2015, the upgrades will increase the production capacity of the facility to 100,000 tpa calcined kaolin, which it brands as Snowhite, up...
