GRAPHITE '14: Tirupati Carbon to open 12,000 tpa flake graphite mine in Madagascar within the next year

The privately held Indian company already has operating mines in India but has decided to expand internationally in order to increase its production of large flake graphite to supply its domestic and eventually the international market.

Jharkhand, India-based Tirupati Carbons and Chemicals is set to open a new 12,000 tpa flake graphite plant in Madagascar before the end of next year, the company revealed at the 4th Industrial Minerals Graphite and Graphene Conference in Berlin, Germany.
