Rouble crash to further benefit Russian fertiliser producers

The continued devaluation of the Russian rouble against the dollar could result in positive earnings for fertiliser companies which have their production cost base in the country. EBITDA figures have already increased by double digits for Q3, and Q4 results are expected to be strong.

The Russian rouble (R) has fallen sharply to a fresh low against the dollar today, to the anticipated benefit of fertiliser producers that have their production cost base in the country.
