US Department of Labour highlights fracking and drilling hazards

The US’s worker safety agency has long been the authority on the dangers of frac sand mining, linking it to respiratory illness. However, this new report uncovers other dangers which could influence working practice.

A report released by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has noted that oil and gas workers suffer higher rates of injury and death compared to other industries.
