AMG sell equity in high value graphite assets to Alterna Capital Partners for $38m

AMG have been a company to watch for a while as they hold several interesting smaller projects as well as its bread-and-butter processing and established graphite mines. The new deal sees the company reducing their debt and underlines a commitment to the market from a fund, which in these times, is significant in itself.

Graphite producers and processors AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group are selling a 40% stake in its AMG Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH business and a 10% stake in its Sri Lankan Bogala Graphite Lanka Plc offering to Alterna Capital Partners for $38m.

The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter...
