Chinese lithium carbonate demand for EV expected to grow to 13% of total demand in 2017

The lithium market worldwide continues to grow steadily after setbacks earlier this year. The demand for electrical vehicles is encouraging growth now but many producers are hoping to supply for a boom in the market in the next few years.
Chinese electric vehicle (EV) demand is expected to have
surged by 363% year-on-year (y-o-y) in 2014, with 33,206 EVs
sold in the first nine months of the year, according to a
