Oil price decline may flatten frac sand prices

Buyers may soon regret committing to premium priced contracts, industry insiders warn

Prices for silica sand ( frac sand) used in hydraulic fracturing (fracking) could flatten at rates below those agreed between sand producers and oilfield services companies for 2015 as oil and gas prices continue to tank, market insiders have suggested to IM.
