Mississippi Lime to expand calcium hydroxide production

Mississippi Lime is looking to become the main supplier of low-cost lime and limestone products in US, a market that is slowly recovering from the recent global recession.

US-based Mississippi Lime Co. has said that it will construct a calcium hydroxide facility to manufacture high reactivity hydrated lime at its Verona plant in Kentucky.

Construction of the Verona project will take approximately 12 months and operations are expected to begin in Q1 2016.
