Molycorp reports higher production from Mountain Pass, but share price continues to slip lower

Despite the US miner underlining strong market demand for its light rare earths, shares continue to slip. Molycorp faces being removed from the NYSE unless it can turn its fortunes around in the next six months, but it remains to be seen what it can possibly do to boost its share price in light of the weak market conditions.

US rare earths producer Molycorp Inc. reported increased Q4 2014 production at its Mountain Pass facility, but news that its stock was running too low to qualify for listing on the NYSE has further dented its share price.
