Tests demonstrate Fairmont technology reduces shale oil production costs

Recent field tests have demonstrated that Fairmont Santrol’s Propel SSP transport technology is able to increase fracking efficiency and decrease the cost per BOE – a particularly timely development in the industry at time when low energy prices are forcing oil and gas producers to curb spending and cancel less lucrative projects.

US proppants supplier Fairmount Santrol has released data demonstrating that its latest Propel SSP proppant transport technology can cut the cost per barrel of oil equivalent (BOE) produced.
