Tronox titanium slag exit curtails 2014 sales but acquisitions give strong outlook

As expected, Tronox's exit from the titanium slag market hit its 2014 results. However, the acquisition of Alkali Chemicals from FMC and the construction of its Fairbreeze mineral sands mine are expected to add around $200m onto the group's adjusted EBITDA in future results.
