Perlite Canada maintains upwards sales trajectory despite net losses

Upping perlite product prices last year appears to have been the right move for Perlite Canada, which posted an increase in revenues year-on-year in its first quarter 2015 results. However, mounting costs associated with a weaker Canadian dollar caused a net loss to the producer over the past three months.

Perlite Canada has continued to strengthen its revenues despite making a net loss of Canadian dollar (C$) 111,549 ($87,881*) over the first quarter of 2015. 

The group’s results for Q1 2015 year show a 3.3% increase in sales to C$1.39m compared with the same period last year....
