Heilongjiang offloads second tranche of state-owned graphite mines

The auction follows an earlier divestment of assets by the northeast Chinese province, as the Chinese government looks to increase competitiveness in the domestic mining sector.

The Heilongjiang Department of Land and Resources in China has announced the sale of a second tranche of publicly owned graphitemines, among other resources, to private owners.

The sell-off follows an early divestment of state assets in the province in February, when nine graphite mines were sold off....
