Altech starts permitting process for Malaysian HPA plant

The company is pushing ahead with plans to become a large-scale HPA producer and expects its BFS to be completed by the third quarter of this year. Altech is designing its plant to meet both international and Malaysian environmental standards.

ASX-listed Altech Chemicals Ltd has started the permitting process for its high purity alumina (HPA) processing plant at Johor Bahru in southern Malaysia.

As part of the first stage of Malaysia’s approvals process for the project, the company submitted a preliminary site assessment (PAT) to the Malaysian Department of Environment....
