Pushy TiO2 Asian suppliers not helping feedstock prices

Rumours that Asia-based pigment producers are increasing offer prices is not trickling down to mineral sands values.

Efforts by suppliers of titanium dioxide ( TiO2) to raise list prices for the pigment are not trickling down to producers of mineral sands feedstocks, IM understands.

Recent market reports suggested that Asian exports of TiO2 were available for $1,900-2,000/tonne FOB China last week and could rise by $50/tonne for deliveries...
