Oklahoma Governor signs pro-fracking bill

Governors in Texas and Oklahoma have now signed bills that prohibit local bans on fracking and other oil and gas activity. Some local residents continue to oppose the process, which they say could have negative environmental consequences.

Oklahoma has become the second US state in as many weeks to stop bans on the hydraulic fracturing (fracking) process and other oil and gas operations.
