Alkane gets go ahead for Dubbo zirconia project in Australia

Permission for the development of the project by the NSW Planning Assessment Commission allows Alkane to move onto the next stage of development for its rare earths and zirconia project, which is expected to bring new mineral supply online in 2017. The company is focused on new waste and water-reducing technology

Australian zirconia and rare earths exploration company Alkane Resources Ltd has received development approval for its Dubbo zirconia project (DZP) in New South Wales, Australia, by the state’s Planning Assessment Commission (PAC).

The company will now, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Australian Zirconia Ltd, move forward with environmental production licencing...
