Lanxess to produce environmentally-friendly red pigments in China

Lanxess is planning to strengthen its global production network by expanding in China, as a response to the growing demand for sustainably-produced iron oxide pigments.

German chemicals group Lanxess AG will produce a new line of red pigment products at its planned iron oxide production plant in Ningbo, China, at the beginning of 2016.

The new plant, which is scheduled to be built by the end of 2015, is being designed for an initial synthesis capacity...
