Morgan launches new kaolin-alumina insulating fire brick

The British refractories company is expanding its high-density series brick range with the unveiling of a new product which has higher than standard cold crush strength and is designed for use in ceramics, chemicals and glass manufacturing.

Morgan Advanced Materials is rolling out a new type of insulating fire brick made from kaolin and high purity alumina (HPA) to meet growing customer demand from the ceramic, chemical processing, glass and iron sectors.

The UK-headquartered company produces the bricks using a technology called the slinger process.
