Rare Earth Minerals increases hold on Sonora lithium project

Increasing its stake in Bacanora in small increments, REM is keeping the operator of the Sonora lithium project in Mexico firmly in the public eye at a time when investor interest in the lithium market is growing.

Rare Earths Minerals Plc. (REM) has again upped its shareholding in Bacanora Minerals Ltd, increasing its exposure to the hefty lithium reserves contained within Bacanora’s Sonora lithium project in Mexico.

The London-listed investment company acquired approximately £426,000 ($660,802*) of Bacanora shares on 9 June, taking its stake from 15.4%...
