Morgan achieves piezoelectric ceramic breakthrough

The company’s new hard PZT blocks provide excellent sensitivity and permittivity, making them ideal for use in SONAR applications. This achievement has led to a high level of interest from the commercial and defence sector.

Morgan Advanced Materials has successfully manufactured what are considered to be the world’s thickest piezoelectric ceramic blocks, suitable for use in ultra-low frequency SONAR applications.
