Select Sands completes PEA on Arkansas frac sand project

With only 40% of the property indicating a 20m tonnes silica sand resource, Select Sands’ Sandtown project could in the future become a key supplier to customers in the oilfield, glass, foundry, building and other end markets.

US-based silica sand developer, Select Sands Corp. has announced a 20m tonnes indicated resource for its Sandtown project in Arkansas after completing a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) on 40% of the 2.1km2 property.
