OFM Houston 2015: Oil recovery could begin early next year says Halliburton

The oilfield services company was more optimistic than some other delegates at IM’s Oilfield Minerals conference in Houston, with predictions that rig counts have stopped heading south and a potential rebound in proppant pumped and frac sand demand in early 2016. In the meantime, the company has pointed to re-fracking as a potential source of revenue with fewer associated costs and risks.

Oilfield services company Halliburton Co. painted a more positive picture for the oil and gas market in 2016, speaking at the Oilfield Minerals Outlook conference in Houston, US.
