Fertilisers have been a bulk game since their most recent round of major technological advancement in the Green Revolution that took place from the 1940s to 1970s. This needs to change – and micronutrients and nanotechnology are paths to add value, not volume, to fertiliser markets, delegates at the IFS Conference 2015, heard.
