Kenmare suspends Moma operations due to unofficial strike

The company is hopeful for a resolution as it temporarily suspends production at its Moma mine in Mozambique. Discussions are currently taking place between union members and Kenmare’s management team.

Ireland-based mineral sands producer Kenmare Resources has temporarily suspended operations at its Moma titanium minerals mine, in Mozambique, after a group of employees embarked on industrial action over a reduction in shift allowances.
