Cuadrilla UK fracking application rejected over traffic concerns

The company's Roseacre Wood site fracking application has been rejected following a recommendation by Lancashire planning officers this month. However, the application was refused over traffic concerns rather than safety or health fears pertaining to fracking and the company still has one application pending, which earlier this month was endorsed for approval.

Energy firm Cuadrilla has had the fracking application for its Roseacre Wood site in Lancashire, UK, rejected by members of Lancashire County Council’s Development Control Committee.
