Soft trading conditions threaten fused magnesia prices

Chinese FM values remain within IM’s published ranges but a 35% decline in monthly export volumes illustrates weakness in the market.

Weak business in the Chinese fused magnesia (FM) market has put pressure on prices, although most suppliers have managed to retain offers at steady levels, sources told IM.
