Major new cement plant will solidify Ethiopian limestone demand

The Dangote cement plant in Mugher, 80km west of Addis Ababa, will make the construction material cheaper domestically and help boost local demand for limestone, gypsum and clay as the country looks to make up ground on its per capita consumption of cement.
