China releases second list of qualified graphite production companies

The subsequent group of accredited producers follows an initial list of graphite businesses which passed the necessary industry entrance conditions in 2013. The latest round expands the number of approved suppliers from 15 to 25, but these will face even stricter operating conditions the previous set of qualifiers.

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has issued a second list of companies which have passed the government’s graphite industry entry standards, extending the field of qualified producers.

The list, which was made public in 23 June, only includes companies that have filed reports on their operations...
