Altech completes BFS three months early for HPA project

The company is making moves to secure the required debt funding and equity to rapidly develop its Malaysian HPA plant after completing its BFS three months ahead of schedule. Subject to successful funding, Altech will see campaign mining commence at its Meckering plant around Q4 2016.

Altech Chemicals Ltd has completed its bankable feasibility study (BFS) three months ahead of schedule for its high purity alumina (HPA) processing plant in Johor, Malaysia and an associated kaolin beneficiation facility at Meckering, Western Australia, to provide feedstock for the HPA plant.
