Kenya to enact new mining law by September

East Africa’s largest economy is expected to introduce a mining law in September to attract international mining companies to the country and help this sector to grow.

Kenya expects to enact a new mining law in September, which will give the government a 10% stake in new projects and aim to spur mining sector growth, according to a government plan leaked to Reuters.
