Mexichem sees 4% revenue growth but fluorine sales dip

The company’s Q2 results for 2015 have been boosted by the inclusion of two acquisitions — PVC producer Vestolit and HPDE maker Dura-Line. However, Mexichem’s flourine sales have dropped due to soft demand for metallurgical grade fluorspar. Yet, the firm still remains confident for its growth prospects for the second half of this year.

Vertically integrated fluorochemcial producer Mexichem SAB de CV has reported a 4% increase in revenues to $1.5bn for the second quarter of 2015, owing to a combination of organic growth and the positive contribution of its recent acquisitions of Germany-based PVC producer, Vestolit, and US high density polythene maker, Dura-Line....
