Lanxess expects strong Q2 2015, as realignment drive kicks in

The German speciality chemicals company, which produces synthetic iron oxide, is on course to return to sustainable growth and improve its competitiveness by the end of this year, as it reaps the benefits from a realignment plan the group implemented in 2014.

Speciality chemicals company Lanxess AG has announced that its net income is estimated to increase by 58% to €87m ($95.6m*) for the second quarter of this year, due to savings achieved from the firm’s realignment programme.
