BRM to construct new gypsum soil conditioner plant for Midwest markets

The Winona-based plant will supply gypsum, a source of calcium and sulphur, to farms across the agriculturally intensive Midwest and Plains groups of states.

Chicago, US-headquartered Beneficial Reuse Management LLC (BRM) is to construct a $5m pelletised gypsum soil conditioner facility in Winona, Minnesota, to open in the third quarter of 2015.

The Gypsoil Blendable-branded product will join the company’s existing gypsum product line which is delivered by the company to 21 states in the Plains...
