Largo sets new vanadium production record

The company has set itself a running theme of breaking records on a monthly basis and has hailed July as being the strongest month of production to date. The news puts the firm on track to meet its goal of becoming a low-cost producer of vanadium to supply the battery and steel markets.

TSX-V-listed Largo Resources Ltd announced that it broke its monthly production record for vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) during July, producing 607 tonnes of the material and surpassing its previous output record of 487 tonnes set in May at its Maracas Menchen plant in Bahia, Brazil.
