SQM’s supply chain flexibility tested as weather damage forces railway closure

The closure of part of its rail transport system may strain SQM's ability to meet order deadlines, although an emergency trucking operation is being implemented. The company, which produces lithium, iodine, potash and nitrates, maintains that shipments will not be impacted.
