EuroChem sees drop in revenues as prices face downward pressure

Quarterly results published today by the agrochemicals company saw drops in both nitrogen and phosophates sales. But the company remains optimistic, especially regarding its potash production, due to come online in 2017.

Zug, Switzerland-headquartered EuroChem Group AG has reported a 15% year-on-year (y-o-y) drop in revenue to $1.14bn for the quarter end 30 June 2015. EBITDA* stood at $318m – a 1% drop compared to Q2 2014.
