Outotec opens dewatering technology centre in Finland

Against a backdrop of declining investment into greenfield mining projects, Outotec is focusing on other areas of growth. The dewatering technology centre in Lappeenranta will complement the company's recent expansion into tailings management via the purchase of Kovit Engineering.

Finnish mining technology company Outotec Oyj has opened a dewatering technology centre in Lappeenrata, Finland, for the development of new products and processes in tailings dewatering and water treatment.
