BLM opens public consultation ahead of Halliburton barite mine expansion

With Halliburton looking to more than double its total Rossi barite mine area in Nevada to 2,123 acres, the state's Bureau of Land Management has kicked off a public consolation period to determine relevant environmental and social issues before it begins to prepare an EIS for the expansion project.
